At Trio School, we have recitals every three months, and we perform not only for the families and friends of our students; we often perform at community centers and senior living facilities, where we can bring joy to people. Our students feel the responsibility of playing, dancing and singing really well to please those people. Our youngest students, who are three years of age, start to make music at the first lessons together with their parents, who not only attend and video record lessons but also learn the material in order to be home teachers for their children. As you can see in the first video, the Mom accompanies her son. This Mom, because she’s been very good couching her child at home, shares the lesson time with the son in order to play the pieces that are more complex. As many parents do, she performs at the recitals as a soloist.
